A cost of illness analysis evaluated how much OCD is costing the economy and society. Bringing awareness to the cost of OCD is important to help researchers obtain funding for studies investigating OCD treatment options, to help raise awareness within society about the cost of OCD, and to help reduce stigma around OCD.
